1815 Radar

The Furuno 1815 is a standalone Radar package that features an 8.4” color LCD screen and stylish, low-profile 4kW radome antenna. It is designed for a wide variety of vessels, including pleasure craft, workboats and small fishing boats that require an easy-to-use, true color Radar at an affordable price point.The unit allows you to select from several adjustable display colors to ensure that it can be viewed in a variety of conditions. The gimbal mount allows the display to swivel when desktop mounted, allowing the user to adjust the display angle for optimal viewing comfort. Overhead mounts are available for added flexibility or you can flush mount it with a simple 5” hole saw.

FA170 Transponder

Furuno's FA170 is a Class A AIS Transponder with a 4.3" Color LCD Display. It displays symbols for AIS-equipped vessels, AIS-SART's, coastal stations and other aids to navigation within VHF range. AIS data can be output to ECDIS, Radar, or other navigational equipment for collision avoidance support. The FA170 includes 6 in/out ports, 3 input only ports, one LAN port, and one alarm output (contact closure) port. The unit is BAM (Bridge Alert Management) ready, meeting the specific requirements for BAM as specified in IMO MSC.302 (87). An optional Pilot Plug is available.

FR8005

The 12.1” color radar FR8005 series features state of the art signal processing, which makes it easier to identify targets in heavy rain and poor visibility. The FR8005 radar can discern between rain and surface reflections, providing the ability to find and track the movement of rain clouds as well as removing unnecessary echoes. For tracking the movement of other vessels at sea, “True Motion Trails” can be displayed as well as AIS/TT target-tracking with a zoom display function. When the vessel is in motion, the radar echoes move smoothly on the main display thanks to the “True View Mode.”

The NavNet 3D radar sensor incorporates a CAN bus port to which FURUNO’s CAN bus sensors such as the WS-200 Weather Station and the SC-30 Satellite Compass can be directly connected. Power for these networked CAN bus sensors is supplied from the CAN bus. This unique feature allows for flexible installation of multiple CAN bus sensors without the need to run cables all the way to the main processor unit. CAN bus data is converted and distributed throughout the NavNet 3D Ethernet network.
